Summary

Pat Huggins / GameTimePA.com

The Lebanon High football team is going to score points. The Cedars almost always do with their sophisticated Air Raid offense that fills the air with footballs and creates a lot of open field running room for its backs and receivers.

But stopping the other team can be an issue for Lebanon, as was the case last year when the Cedars averaged 25.4 points per game yet finished just 3-7 after surrendering 367 points in those 10 games.

So what's in store for the Cedars this time around? Hard to say, but one could safely lean toward another round of shootouts.

Certainly the Cedars should be able to score prolifically again with promising junior quarterback Cody Kissinger at the controls of the Air Raid.

Kissinger was hampered by injury last season, but still managed to throw for nearly 1,000 yards and six touchdowns in limited action, providing hope that he could be the next Cedar quarterback to put up big numbers in the Air Raid and follow in the footsteps of former Lebanon greats Mark Pyles and James Capello.
